Middleware Administrator

Develops and builds new version of middleware technologies running on Linux and or AIX PlatformsBuilds and supports Middleware Technologies (Oracle Traffic Director, Weblogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Apache Tomcat, JBOSS, ControlM, MOVEiT, etc.)Installations of Software Binary packages and upgrades MiddlewareProvides technical support of Development, Test and Production environmentsProvides input for middleware technologies design standardsSupports the installation of application releases into Test environments, including delivery of container build scriptsProvides input to low-level designsIdentifies issues affecting customer service and resolve themProvides build requirement for VMs and/or server set-up Contributes to the development of documentation and standardsMigrates Middleware Infrastructure to new versions and support the migration of applications by development teamsProvides inputs in estimating project builds Liaises with application teams regarding Middleware (e.g.
Weblogic) Code of Connection and integration issues
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Must have 5 years of experience in Middleware Administration. (Non-negotiable)
Must have hands-on experience in building, configuring, installing, upgrading, and supporting middleware technologies. (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience working with middleware technologies on Linux and/or AIX platforms. (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience with one or more of the following middleware technologies: (Non-negotiable)
Oracle WebLogic
Oracle Fusion Middleware
Oracle Traffic Director
Apache Tomcat
JBoss
Control-M
MOVEit
Must have experience in installing software and binary packages and performing middleware upgrades. (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience providing technical support for Development, Test, and Production environments. (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience in supporting application deployments and releases, including the use of container build scripts. (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience with middleware infrastructure migration and version upgrades. (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience in VM and server setup requirements for middleware environments. (Non-negotiable)
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve middleware, integration, and application-related issues. (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience working with application and development teams on middleware configuration, code of connection, and integration issues. (Non-negotiable)
Ability to contribute to technical documentation, design standards, low-level designs, and project build estimates. (Non-negotiable)
Must have strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. (Non-negotiable)
Must be willing to work in a technical support and infrastructure environment supporting multiple platforms and application teams. (Non-negotiable)
