Job Summary:The Communications Specialist supports the team by drafting, reviewing, and refining internal and external communications.
This includes writing professional emails, preparing simple yet effective PowerPoint presentations, and assisting in the execution of communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:Draft and review internal and external email communicationsCreate and format PowerPoint presentations for meetings, reports, and eventsAssist in preparing communication materials such as memos, announcements, and newslettersEnsure consistency in tone, branding, and messaging across all communicationsCollaborate with various teams to gather content and ensure timely deliverySupport the execution of communication plans and campaignsMaintain organized records of communication templates and assetsProvide proofreading and editing support as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or any Business course. (Non-negotiable)

  • Must have minimum 2–4 years of work experience in communications, content writing, documentation, or a similar role in the IT industry. ( Non-negotiable)

  • Must have experience working in or collaborating with an IT team or technology-related organization. (Non-negotiable)

  • Must have experience in simplifying and interpreting technical or IT concepts and translate them into user-friendly communication materials such as emails, presentations, and documentation. (Non-negotiable)

  • Must have strong presentation and design skills in Microsoft PowerPoint/Canva (experience with templates, formatting, and visual storytelling). (Non-negotiable)

  • Must have Proofreading and Editing skills with keen attention to grammar, tone, and brand consistency. (Non-negotiable)

  • Must have excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail, structure, and clarity. (Non-negotiable)

  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and feedback efficiently. (Non-negotiable)

  • Portfolio required (e.g., sample presentations, IT-related writeups, documentation, or communication pieces). (Non-negotiable)
